Friction Grenade Instructions
ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND OPERATE ONLY IN DESIGNATED AREAS WITH PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION
1). Please make sure to read all the instructions on the product and always follow them.
2). Twist off the cap, it requires minimal force.
3). Once snapped off you’ll see the friction fuse. Take the rough side of the cap and strike the fuse with it. This shouldn’t take too much force, no more than striking a non-safety match.
4). You will now find yourself holding a live pyrotechnic. This is an excellent opportunity for you to get rid of it at velocity. The most favoured method of doing this is throwing it firmly at your intended target.
Things you shouldn’t do:
• Never throw them directly at someone. • Never carry them in pockets, especially if live. They are best carried on webbing or in assault/tactical vests. • Never remove the cap and then store it is the same place as the rest of the pyrotechnic. • Never hold onto the pyrotechnic after it has been primed. • Never give it to children to play with. • Never pick up a primed/live pyro. • Never return to unexploded pyros. • Do not use them anywhere except designated game areas.
Between games store pyros in an approved secure, cool dry place away from direct sunlight, dampness and children. Access to all pyrotechnical products should be limited to authorised personnel.
